I am very pleased that it works just as described.. When we bought our new house the gas dryer would not work. A technician found a large mouse nest in the vent system. Our vent is only a foot off the ground and I didn’t want a repeat of that issue. This P -tec no pest vent is just as good as advertised.
5/10/2012 · Nope, this P -Tec dryer vent will NOT work with an existing and standard 4 pipe. Reasons – the plastic opening that mounts to the extension pipe measures just a hair under 4 and the pipe that comes with it has tabs to help secure it (so you’re stuck using the tube/pipe it comes with).
